FAQ
Short, direct answers for common searches. For exact results, use the calculator.
How does this profit model handle price/yield ranges like “20–40”?
Baseline uses the midpoint of ranges (e.g., 30) for a stable comparison. The calculator can later offer min/max/avg modes to match your assumptions.
Do crops wilt at season change in this model?
Yes. Rankings use a 28-day season window and assume crops wilt on the first day of the next season—so only harvests within the window count.
Does fertilizer change rankings?
Often. Zippy can increase harvest count by shortening grow time. Bounteous increases revenue per harvest by boosting yield. The calculator page is built for toggling these assumptions.
Is this the best page to answer “what should I plant for money”?
Use Best Crops by Season for a quick answer, then open the calculator to test your specific crop, fertilizer, and season assumptions.
Why might my in-game results differ?
Quality outcomes, missed watering days (growth delay), and processing/recipes can shift profit. This site focuses on transparent baseline assumptions and gives you tools to tune them.
