Crop Calculator
Find the most profitable seeds based on your current season day and star quality. We rank by Profit Per Tile (PPT) to avoid misleading gross revenue.
Best strategy in 30 seconds
- Early season (Day 1–7): Pick fast crops you can fully cycle multiple times. If you’re unsure, follow the preview Top list and avoid slow crops early.
- Mid season (Day 8–18): Use the day slider. If a crop can’t mature before season end, it’s a trap. Favor regrow crops when you still have enough days.
- Late season (Day 19+): Only plant crops that can mature in time. If everything looks bad, pivot to forage/mining routes and save money for next season.

How the calculator works
Season days:
We estimate results within the remaining days of the current season (30-day season).
Tiles per bag:
FoMT crops typically plant multiple tiles per bag (often 9). We normalize profit per tile.
Star quality:
We apply a star multiplier so you can see how quality changes ROI.
Renewables:
Regrow crops harvest once, then regrow on a smaller cycle.
Huang bonus:
Optional average bonus for higher-value items to approximate haggling.
FAQ
Why is this better than a wiki crop list?
Wikis list base prices and growth times. This page answers the decision: what should you plant today, with your remaining days and quality assumptions.
Why do some items show negative profit?
Because seed cost and time matter. Late in the season, slow crops may not pay back before the season ends.
Why do rankings change a lot with star quality?
Higher stars amplify shipping value. Some crops scale harder and overtake early-game staples at higher quality.
Should I always enable Huang’s bonus?
Only if you plan to sell via Huang and you’re targeting high-value shipments. Otherwise, disable it for a conservative baseline.
Why do I sometimes see duplicates (e.g., Blue Grass)?
Your data source may contain multiple entries. If that’s not intended, dedupe by name + source in the dataset layer.
