Olive Town Seasonal Crop Rankings

Stop wasting your field space. These rankings compare true Profit/Day by season, using a clear, repeatable set of assumptions.

Transparent assumptions: rankings vary with star quality, days remaining, and Maker availability. Use the calculator to match your setup.

⏱️ The 28-Day Rule

In Pioneers of Olive Town, crops wilt instantly when the season changes. These tier lists assume you plant on Day 1 and evaluate Profit/Day over a 28-day window.

  • 1 If you’re starting mid-season, reduce Days in the calculator.
  • 2 If you haven’t unlocked a Maker yet, disable processing to avoid misleading results.
  • 3 Treat this page as a shortlist; confirm your exact picks in the calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers are written to match real player decisions (days remaining, unlocks, and Makers).

What are the best crops in each season in PoOT?

This page shows a quick Top 3 preview per season based on a consistent baseline (1★, 28 days, processing included). For a full tier list, open the season page. For your exact setup (mid-season days, no Makers), use the calculator.

Why do rankings change after I unlock Makers?

Makers can dramatically increase effective sell value (e.g., Jam, Condiments, Powder). Once you unlock a new Maker or get more machines, the best Profit/Day crop can change—so treat rankings as a shortlist, then confirm in the calculator.

What if I’m starting mid-season?

These lists assume you plant on Day 1. If you’re starting later, reduce the Days value in the calculator to match your remaining season length.

Is Profit/Day (PPD) better than sell price?

Yes. PPD accounts for growth time, regrow intervals, seed cost, and processing value. A crop with a high sell price can still be poor if it grows slowly or costs too much to plant.

Do crops die when seasons change in Olive Town?

Yes—seasonal crops wilt instantly when the season changes. That’s why the 28-day window assumption matters and why mid-season adjustments are important.
